Abstract: A group of 16 pigs is observed over time and feeding times are recorded. We are interested in analyzing interdependencies between the animals' feeding behavior. For that purpose, a directed functional graphical model is proposed which is fitted using a regression-based approach. By regressing each pig on the remaining ones we look for substantial effects telling us about specific interactions between animals. In the talk, both the modeling approach and the application are discussed in detail.
