Joseph Hilbe (my father) was involved in athletics from a very young age. This talk will discuss his personal interests in sports and how his love for statistics provided opportunities for the two fields to marry. My father's relentless drive to learn more, personally do better and help others transferred to everything he did in life; this was apparent through his roles as an athlete, coach, statistician, and mentor. This talk will demonstrate how Joseph Hilbe truly did #LeadWithStatistics in Sports.
