The University of Minnesota offers an M.S. and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Data Science. An undergraduate B.S. is under development. Each of these programs is a collaboration between the School of Statistics, the Division of Biostatistics, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.

I will discuss the structure of our data science programs, what seems to be working, and what doesn't. I will also discuss the advantages and challenges involved in our collaborative approach.
