Functional neuroimaging techniques such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), positron emission tomography (PET), electroencephalography (EEG), and others, offer great promise for the study of mental health issues. At the same time, there are enormous challenges in the collection, storage, and analysis of these types of data. In this roundtable discussion, we will explore the challenges - and opportunities - for the use of imaging methods in mental health.
