Abstract:

Resampling method has been applied in many statistical analyses. The resampling algorithms have been extended to regression, either in parametric form or non-parametric form, depending on the assumption of error distribution. In this paper, we propose a new resampling procedure in linear regression. A simulation study was conducted to compare the new procedure and existing methods. The new procedure is also applied to obtain the confidence intervals of some cancer statistics.
