Title: Hierarchical Archimedian Copula Models for the Analysis of Familial Binary Data
Author(s): Yihao Deng*

Abstract:

Familial data occurred naturally when research is focused on certain characteristics of family members. Modeling the dependence among the members is very important and sometimes challenging for this type of data, especially when the response is discrete. In this presentation, hierarchical Archimedian copula models are proposed to model the relation between the binary response and covariates, and the dependence among family members. Several hierarchical strategies are also illustrated in a data example.
