Abstract:

Across academia, the open access and open source movement aims to lower barriers to education and facilitate the development of rich and engaging materials. Within statistics, there are many exciting projects, including textbooks, videos, lab materials, activities, and quiz banks. During this roundtable, we will provide a survey of the landscape and then facilitate a discussion about how best to use them in your course and how to contribute your own materials to these projects. We would like to hear from both educators who are already using open resources in their classes and those who are looking for ideas for how to get started.
