Abstract:

Our association recently celebrated 175 years of existence, which could only happen by our members volunteering their time to support the mission and goals of the ASA. In this talk, we will provide a brief history of the committees, sections, chapters, and governing bodies of the ASA, and how they have evolved over the years. Examples of the positive impact our profession has made through these entities will be discussed.
