Abstract

Ram Gnanadesikan, one of the leading industrial statisticians of the last century, passed away on July 6, 2015. This panel session will discuss his wide-ranging contributions under the following themes: research, industrial statistics, teaching, mentoring, management, leadership, and humanitarian work. The panelists were close colleagues during his time in industry and academia.
