Each year, the Joint Statistical Meetings offers cutting-edge presenters for five days of technical sessions, luncheons, roundtables, Professional Development courses, computer technology workshops, and poster sessions. Attendees also enjoy networking during receptions, strolling through the exhibit hall, shopping at the Marketplace, and job-hunting at the Career Service.

Meeting Registration Fees

Registration includes the program book and conference bag, technical sessions, and JSM Proceedings, as well as entry into the exhibit hall, Sunday Opening Mixer, and Tuesday Night Dance Party.

Cancellations/Substitutions/Refunds

Registration fees for participants (speakers/panelists/discussants/chairs/organizers/poster presenters) are nonrefundable. Substitutions may be made at no penalty.

For general registrations and add-on items, cancellations received by 5:00 p.m. EDT on June 1, 2015, incur a cancellation fee of 20% of each item cancelled. Cancellations received by 5:00 p.m. EDT on July 23, 2015, incur a cancellation fee of 40% of each item cancelled. Cancellations received after 5:00 p.m. EDT on July 23, 2015, will not be refunded.

Meetings Conduct Policy

As a professional society, the American Statistical Association (ASA) is committed to providing an atmosphere that encourages the free expression and exchange of ideas. Consistent with this commitment, it is the policy of the ASA that all participants in ASA activities will enjoy a welcoming environment free from unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. All participants in ASA activities also agree to comply with all rules and conditions of the activities, which are subject to change without notice. This policy applies to all participants in ASA activities, including but not limited to event attendees, statisticians, students, guests, staff, contractors, exhibitors, and participants in scientific sessions, tours, and other social events of any ASA meeting or other activity.

All individuals must behave responsibly in ASA activities in which they participate. Threatening physical or verbal actions and disorderly or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. Harassment, including verbal comments relating to gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, age, national origin, gender identity or expression, veteran status or other protected status, or sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, unauthorized or inappropriate photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention, will not be tolerated. All individuals participating in ASA activities must comply with these standards of behavior.

Violations should be reported to the organizer of the activity. In the ASA's sole discretion, unacceptable behavior may result in removal or denial of access to meeting facilities or activities and other penalties, without refund of any applicable registration fees or costs. In addition, violations may be reported to the individual's employer. Repeat offenders may be banned from future ASA activities.
