Author(s): Sarah Kalicin* and Yi-Fang Tsai and Damon Waring
Companies: Intel Corporation and Intel Corporation and Intel Corporation
Keywords: Optimal Design ; User Experience ; Study design ; Computer Performance ; Mixture Design ; William Latin Square
Abstract:

Mixture designs are typically used to quantify the impact of changing component proportions within a blend or solution. Within this presentation, the authors will showcase the use case of a mixture design to illustrate the impact of web page partial load performance and other process factors on users' experience. The talk will discuss: why a mixture design was used, what approaches the design treatments were determined, what design aspects were considered to control for other lurking variables, and how the model was evaluated.
