Abstract:
|
Statistics Canada is involved in a comprehensive review of the potential for administrative and other alternative data sources to replace, complement, or supplement the Agency's census and survey programs. As part of this review, the possible addition of a question asking respondents to provide their Social Insurance Number (SIN) on the Canadian Census of Population questionnaire was tested. This presentation gives an overview of this test and of its principal results.
