Abstract:
|
The talk concerns several recent developments in mediation analysis ranging from issues of identification to advances in estimation. We discuss bounds, sensitivity analysis, robustness to unobserved confounding, and inference free of cross-world counterfactual independence assumptions. Several examples from HIV and perinatal epidemiology are discussed.
