Abstract:
|
This paper examines the effect of the direction of skewness on various frequently used procedures for simultaneous all pairwise comparisons with and without an omnibus F test. As examples we consider normal mixture distributions. We look at a one-way layout with 4 groups and samples of sizes 5, 10, and 15 under both the null and alternative hypotheses with several effect sizes.
