Abstract:
|
In this talk we will propose an approach which combines the balanced ranked set sampling design (RSS)and the group sequential designs in order to attain further sample savings over the usual sequential designs in clinical trials. We give anlytical as well as simulation-based performance assesment of these combined approaches and we illustrate their utility by using data on an HIV clinical trial.
