Abstract:
|
Forecasting annual export-import or its difference is an important issue for making national policies like future Production Policy, Trade Policy, Exchange Rate Determination, National Budget Allocation, Price Level Settlement, etc. Unfortunately the existing procedures for forecasting time series models suffer from some acute limitations. This paper presents a new method for prognosticating such time series data. A comparative study has been shown between traditional time series models and the suggested time series models for more than three decades' annual export-import of Bangladesh.
