Abstract:
|
New sellers are most in need of pricing and tagging suggestions for their wares, but it is challenging to find similar items to pull these suggestions from for new shops with little existing data. A good method should find some similar items, within a relatively narrow price band, suggest some new tags for the item, and in a reasonable amount of computation time. We will graphically compare at least two methods on these criteria. This will lead to future work where we can quantify the improvement in finding similar items when shop history contributes to the information available.
