Abstract:
|
Clinical trials studying Central Nervous System (CNS) face numerous problems such as missing data and the the ability to interpret the results of the components of the trials. We focus attention of two designs, The Delayed Start Design and the Sequential Parallel Comparison Design, both which attempt to deal with these and other complex issues. We review the settings and objectives of these designs, their abilities and weaknesses to achieve their aims, and some suggested improvements.
