Abstract:
|
Outcomes that are well defined only for a subgroup, e.g., of survivors, are a common problem in many real studies of possible interventions. The use of principal stratification to define the estimands in such situations is now becoming common, perhaps even standard. This presentation will review recent applications of this important approach, and discuss some extensions.
