Abstract:
|
The baseline category logit model is a powerful tool for analyzing nominal outcome data. We present a modified version of the logit based model that constrains the parameters to be the same across all levels of the logit, the intercepts are the only terms allowed to vary. In addition, a closed form of the variance estimates is compared to estimates based on bootstrap resampling. The proposed method is applied to simulated data.
