Abstract:
|
We begin by reviewing multiply type II censoring and give examples as to how it can arise in applications. We then present a new goodness-of-fit (GOF) test statistic for both ordinary and multiply Type II censored Exponential data. This test statistic is based on a ratio of linear functions of order statistics. We discuss results from a power study that shows the test compares favorably to currently available GOF tests.
