Abstract:
|
In many teratogenic and clinical studies, response binary data are often correlated within each litter or patient. For example, multiple sclerosis relapses could happen on a multiple sclerosis patient several times. Many statistical methods were developed to analyze the over-dispersion data over twenty years. In practice, Poisson regression model is often used. However, this model may not be appropriate in some circumstances. In this paper, we focus on the discussion of our new model, exchangeable negative binomial distribution, compared with the often used model, Poisson distribution, by simulation at different settings, which would be helpful to our practice.
