Abstract:
|
Composite measures of size can be used to select primary sampling units in a two-phase design such that multiple subdomains are self-weighting. This method can be generalized to situations where the PSU probabilities are prescribed so that the sample allocations to domains within PSUs are adjusted to achieve self-weighting domains. The method is illustrated for an area probability sample of housing units.
