Abstract:

For various obvious reasons study of extreme temperatures of a particular region is important. In this paper unlike previous studies on extreme temperatures a mixture probabilistic model approach has been applied in case of Jessor Division of Bangladesh. A mixture of extreme value distributions has been found to be appropriate in case of the said region of Bangladesh.
