Abstract:
|
The relative risk/prevalence ratio is an important measurement in medical research and epidemiological studies. However the estimation has been problematic due to the constraint in practice of the log-binomial model. Discussions on the estimation algorithms have gained attention, such as conversion method, COPY method, NLP method and inverse probability of treatment weighted method. We conduct comprehensive simulation studies in SAS and make a clear recommendation based on the performance of each method, including relative bias, mean square error, coverage probability, length of computational time and easiness of programming.
