Abstract:
|
A measure is suggested for assessing agreements between two methods of measuring an unknown quantity. It is a function of difference between measurements on the same subject and also two estimates of the true unknown quantity, the arithmetic mean and the geometric means. The measure is motivated by the J-divergence rate and can be viewed as the distance between distributions for measures by two methods. Application to assessing agreement relative to a clinical threshold of interest is also included.
