Abstract:

Inference algorithms of protein networks use huge amounts of data of different importance and quality. These data are used to construct and infer structural and similarity models for the prediction of protein roles. In most cases the quality of data is not evaluated. Here, we purpose how to conduct a sensitivity analysis on a prediction algorithm that uses different kinds of data and evaluate their importance for the prediction of protein roles. This algorithm can be applied to all kind of prediction algorithms, but we concentrate on protein prediction based on a Prinicpal Component Analysis.
