Abstract:
|
The standard association test examines whether a specific SNP is associated with a disease. However, the genetics community now wants to combine information across multiple SNPs within a gene and determine whether that gene is associated with the disease. Our first goal is to provide a unifying framework for all of the suggested tests. Our second goal is to leverage the common framework of these tests to find an `optimal' or robust test.
