Abstract:
|
The talk will give an introduction to recently developed statistical methodologies for confirmatory adaptive designs.Such designs involve features like sample size re-estimation, treatment or subgroup selection at an interim analysis. One new topic will be a statistical methodolgy to control type I error rates in two-stage designs with response adaptive treatment allocation in the first part at which end treamtents are selected, and a second stage where the selected treatments are further investigated in a classical parallel group design.
