Abstract:

Phosphorylation is one of the most commonly occurring protein post-transcriptional modifications. Change of phosphorylation level will change the conformation and activity of the protein. Often these phosphorylated proteins are enzymes and/or substrates in signaling pathways of cells, which have been associated with diseases, such as cancers and diabetes. The tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) data were generated using SILAC technique, which detected the change of phosphorylation level of the proteins between different samples under different conditions. In our work presented here, Baysian network is implemented with cluster analysis to reveal a protein-protein interaction network including key pathways based on the MS/MS data. We also compare our result with known network in database, e.g. KEGG, and find that out method is realiable.
