Abstract:
|
The Master of Public Health (MPH) program is one of the most widely recognized professional credential for leadership in public health and the need of learning Statistics in the program is growing fast. Most of students, however, took an introductory statistics course long before or never have taken before and it is hard for them to have a confident to be successful in Statistics course especially in an online format. Even the emphasis in the course is on concepts, computation should be included and in an online format lecture, it is more challenge. There is, however, a benefit that students can repeat the lecture. Several top MPH programs will be compared from number of students to curriculum to statistics program packages and reserach opportunities and challenges of an online format.
