Abstract:
|
This presentation will contain four parts. Firstly, we will talk about what gWidgets is and why we choose gWidgets to develop a Toolkit-Independent API for Building GUIs in R. Secondly, we will introduce how to use gWidgetsRGtk2 to build basic GUIs in R. We will see how to build the new R package TourrGui, which enables interactive control of different types of tours. To finish, we will have a tour of the TourrGui package and see how to use this package for visualizing multivariate data.
