Abstract:

This roundtable discussion will focus on measuring investigator satisfaction with the statistical collaboration/consulting experience in a medical center. Research administration typically evaluates a Biostatistics unit based on investigator satisfaction and funding capability. For those circumstances where there is a need for evaluation, we would like to discuss factors that contribute to the successful consulting experience. Another important aspect includes effectively evaluating the session for different consulting roles, such as the statistician as a collaborator/leader. Both junior and senior level statisticians from various disciplines are encouraged to attend, as other disciplines in different consulting settings have developed effective evaluation models.
