Abstract:
|
The DNA microarray technology allows the simultaneous measurement of the expression levels of tens of thousands of genes for a single biological sample. An important and common problem in microarray experiments is the detection of genes that are differentially expressed in a given number of classes. It needs to be carried out within the framework of multiple hypothesis testing. This paper proposed a testing method based on GSEA (Mootha, et al, 2003), that is adapted to a self-contained null hypothesis and to subject sampling.
