We propose a semiparametric inference procedure for assessing treatment efficacy in terms of the difference in survival probabilities in randomized clinical trials with all-or-nothing compliance. An iterative procedure is derived for calculating the semiparametric maximum likelihood estimators. Large sample properties and inference are developed. We evaluate our method by simulation studies, and illustrate it using the Multicenter Selective Lymphadenectomy Trial I, a randomized clinical trial for melanoma.
