Abstract:
|
Minimax rates of convergence reveal a complexity in a worst case for the statistical model that we are concerned with. Sparsity is the main interest in our model. Gaussian sequence and sparse approximation sets, each having a sparse property are considered. We obtain optimal rates of convergence using a new lower bound argument.
