Abstract:
|
The Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) key function group of the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) sites formed an Online Resources and Education Task Force in 2006. Work by this group and UCSF developed into CTSpedia, a wiki-based resource for sharing knowledge, tools and resources. CTSpedia has focused on brief entries defining common terms, articles on topics like using national databases, statistical software, and material for teaching ethical conduct of research. New awards to University of Rochester, UC Davis and Vanderbilt support expansion of this content and extension to educational materials, case-based learning, data dictionaries for national databases, and evaluation data of the impact of our services. New proposals include an online journal repository and a collaboration with the FDA. Content, access and future plans will be discussed.
