This discussion on applying for grants will be led by a current and a former program officer from the National Science Foundation Division of Undergraduate Education. Topics addressed will be directed by participants' interests and questions, and may include when and how to initiate a proposal, the programs in which funding opportunities are available, NSF's merit review criteria, the proposal writing process, and tips for improving the success of a project. Junior faculty are encouraged to participate.
