Abstract:
|
Dose escalation designs are used in early phase oncology clinical development with the intent of identifying the maximum tolerated dose(MTD). Model-based approaches such as the Continual Reassessment Method (CRM) offer benefits over traditional designs by fully leveraging all available information. This presentation will discuss various Bayesian adaptive designs for dose escalation, including the CRM and its modifications. Simulation results will be presented to demonstrate the operating characteristics of these designs. An application from the results will also be presented.
