Abstract:
|
The next generation sequencers offer the high-throughput sequenceing of human whole genome and the experiment of at least 10-fold coverage of sequence data will be done within two weeks. However, the process of the raw data such as image transformation and sequence assembling will cost more than two weeks. The analytical methods of this complex and huge data are still developed. Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer deaths worldwide. Lung cancer also shows the inherent within the risk families. In past years, we enrolled 361 simplex family families with and 135 multiplex family families into the study. Among above families, the DNA of a unique multiplex family with 4 female siblings will be used for whole genome sequence by using next generation sequencer. This significant family history data may provide the insight of genomic alteration of lung cancer.
