Abstract:
|
In this talk we explain a geometric method for constructing optimal designs for pharmacokinetic models In particular we generalize a classical result of Elfving (1952) and discuss important applications in the construction of optimal designs for random effect models with correlated observations, which have found considerable attention in the receent literature on pharmacokinetics. The results are illustrated in several population models.
