Abstract:
|
We propose a semiparametric additive mixed effect model for modelling multivariate failure time data. A cluster-specific random effect is introduced to the additive intensity model to account for the dependence of the correlated failure times. We construct an estimating equation for parameter estimation. The asymptotic distributions of the proposed estimators are derived. Simulation studies demonstrate that the proposed inference procedure performs well in realistic settings. We apply the proposed method to analyze data from a medical study.
