Abstract:
|
This paper discusses the estimation plans of evaluating the coverage of the 2010 U.S. Census based on the results of the coverage survey. The U.S. Census Bureau will continue to estimate the net error of undercount or overcount based on the dual system estimation methodology. For 2010, the survey evaluation has been given the new objective of estimating the components of census coverage that include erroneous enumerations and omissions. This paper will provide more details on the estimation methodology being developed to produce these results.
