Abstract:

Network data analysis and visualization are becoming more and more important as is the need for interactive systems to analyze such data. In this talk we discuss the design and use of an interactive system to locate problems in a call center. The system allows visualizing paths of calls through the call center using flowgraphs, and the system is designed to also permit drilling into these paths to identify problem spots and areas for improvement. Visualizations and analyses of high level metrics can help guide the user's overall analytical approach.
