Abstract:

Gini coefficient has been used widely to measure the income difference. In this paper, a new methodology of decomposition of Gini coefficient has been derived. And its application to Chinese national macroeconomy data has been studied. To fit the Chinese national income data, the pitman's estimator has been found where the UMVUE doesn't exist.
