Keywords: goodness of fit ; exponential distribution ; likelihood ; Anderson-Darling test
Abstract:

Exponential distributions are used widely in many applications. We gave a review of the leading existing goodness-of-fit tests. A new test for composite exponential distribution is proposed which is based on weighted likelihood ratio statistics. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed test has competitive power against leading existing tests.
