Abstract:

Reviewing TFLs from a clinical trial may be a time consuming activity that could vary from person to person. TFLs need to be reviewed to at least ensure that the numbers make sense, the analyses are properly done, the titles and footnotes are correct, and that the tables are as consistent to each other as possible. Typically, there is not much time allotted for each review and these documents can be very large. This can make it challenging to look at all the details necessary to ensure quality. Since there may be multiple reviews of the TFLs before and after a study finishes, it would be very useful to have an efficient and consistent approach to reviewing the TFLs. We will share practical suggestions to provide possible solutions to common issues. This will include collecting data more effectively, using SAS programs to check pre-selecting reports and other possibilities.
