Abstract:
|
Sequential decision analysis is a very powerful tool in the design, interim monitoring, and execution of a clinical trial. The importance of using sequential decision analysis is to ensure the decision maker to make an early stopping either when the treatment on trial promises or disappoints. A lot of research and applications in this field have been done under the frequentist framework. However, Bayesian adaptive design has become more popular in clinical trials since it is natural in designing trials sequentially. This session will be a forum for participants in sharing recent developments and insights about this increasing important field.
