Abstract:

Some of clinical trials such as drug abuse potential studies, QTc studies, Palatability studies, and feasibility studies with medical tapes, often use Williams square balanced crossover design. In those studies, there may be carryover effects, dropouts may break the balance of the design, and models may be misspecified. We conducted a Monte Carlo Study to examine the performance of the SAS Proc Mixed procedure with carryover effects and/or the dropouts. The results will be reported in this presentation.
