Abstract:

Presentation will illustrate via a case study for a phase IIa/b adaptive program design how modelers can use decision analysis and Bayesian modeling to more productively assist clinical teams with protocol decisions. Topics include framing and developing a manageable set of compelling alternatives, assuring information is relevant and has credence, salient value measures, analytic methods useful for implementation, and achieving buy-in from both clinical teams and colleagues in statistics.
